This is the first in a series of video clip packs focused on no-input feedback mixing with vision mixers and switchers. Goopy Gradients is captured exclusively from the output of a Roland V-440HD, a combo SD and HD live switcher. The V-440HD is an interesting unit because it features two independent busses, compatible with composite, S-video, VGA, and YPbPr formats, giving you an exceptionally wide range of feedback flavors and configurations. The HD bus also features built in scalers, which are readily exploitable for generating feedback with motion or direction. While it lacks any real FX, the aforementioned features allow you to get way more out of this mixer than its feature set might suggest.

Do not adjust your televisions! Internal feedback naturally causes irregularities in the V-440HD frame synchronizer. Artifacts, glitches, ringing, flashes and other visual defects are preserved and NOT the result of the capture, encoding, or download errors.
